Between 7:00pm and 9:30pm at Donburn Primary School on the evening of July 20th, the Division 1 Grand Final of the 2017 Winter Pennant will be contested between the Mariners (1st) and the Archers (2nd).

Every rubber is anticipated to be strongly contested and we expect there to be plenty of five-set thrillers. Leading player Shahram (Mariners) will hope to maintain his supremacy when he faces off against anti-spin master Graham of the Archers. Be sure not to miss this one, which we are tipping to be the defining match of the Grand Final.

A tight contest is also expected when Sinisa (Archers) and Al (Mariners) meet. Both of these players have displayed great improvement within their skills throughout the season. Finally, the doubles is sure to be unmissable and is expected to be the crucial key to victory for either side.

Can the Mariners sail to victory? Or will the Archers hit their target and obtain the championship title? Be sure to catch all of the action on Thursday evening!

Please note that our additional tables will not be available for practice on this night as the players of Division 2 will be concluding the final matches of round 10. Practice tables will be available for grading of those players interested in participating within the upcoming Spring Pennant, which will commence on August 24th.
