The 2015 MTTC Winter Pennant competition is swiftly approaching the thrilling conclusion to the season as it enters Round 9.

Within Division 1, the resurrected Kestrels will clash with the high flying Falcons to determine who will soar atop of the competition. For this close contest, the doubles and the rubber between Stephen and Abdullah are shaping up to be the vital games. This doubles rubber will also be the pick of the round and crucial for the race to the finals in Division 1. In addition, the Vultures will square off against the Condors, as both teams attempt to secure a potential finals appearance. Tim will return for the Condors in this match and attempt to regain his title as top player from rivals, Abdullah, Paul and Xu Dong.

Round 9 will also witness the Brolgas attempt to continue their good form against the Cardinals, in Division 2, leading into the finals. The match between Bill and Howard will be a thriller. The match between the Seahawks and Harriers is eagerly anticipated for MTTC because the upcoming junior stars Alex and Hamish will get an opportunity to face off against each other again and observe how far they have improved upon their skills and knowledge throughout the progression of the season.

Practice tables will also be available to get a taste for the competition. So on Thursday evening be sure not to miss out on all of this action and more at Templestowe Leisure Centre!!
