2018 Spring Pennant (18/09 – 30/10)

Eight teams competed against each other in a 7-week long competition. Each team consisted of 2 players and in each regular season match there was a total of five rubbers played: 4 singles and 1 doubles. Each rubber was contested as the best out of 5 sets, which were played up to at least 11 points each.

The regular season (pool stage component) of the 2018 Spring pennant (18/09 – 23/10) consisted of six rounds, where each team played against each other team in their pool twice. At the conclusion of the regular season, the top team from each pool progressed into the Grand Final, which was held on October 30th.

Pool A: Roosters, Rabbits, Storm, and Sharks.

Pool B: Eagles, Demons, Magpies, and Tigers.

The Grand Final was conducted between the top teams from each pool on the evening of Tuesday, October 30th at Manningham DISC. The Tigers (Pool B) defeated the Storm (Pool A), by 3 rubbers to 1 in the Grand Final.
