2017 Autumn Pennant (16/02 – 04/05)
Six teams competed against each other within a 12-week long competition. Each team consisted of 2 players. Within each regular season match, a total of five rubbers were played: 4 singles and 1 doubles. Each rubber was played to the best out of 5 sets, which was played up to 11 points.
The Finals Series commenced on the 27th of April at the conclusion of the regular season, after every team had played against each other twice. Only the teams ranked first, second, third and fourth proceeded through to the semi-finals.
The Semi-Finals were held on April 27th, 2017. The teams ranked second (Falcons) and third (Taipans) upon the ladder will compete against each other in Semi-Final 2. Whilst, the teams ranked first (Pythons) and fourth (Lions) will contest Semi-Final 1. The winners of each semi-final faced off against each other in the Grand Final, which was held on the 4th of May, 2017. Ultimately, the Pythons defeated the Falcons during the Grand Final.
