2016 Spring Pennant (25/08 – 10/11)
Five Teams competed against each other within a 10 Week Competition. Each team consisted of 2 players. Within each regular season match, there was a total of five rubbers played: 4 singles and 1 doubles. Each rubber was played best out of 5 sets, which were played up to 11 points.
The Finals Series commenced at the conclusion of the regular season, after every team had played each other twice.
The teams ranked second (Tiger Snakes) and third (Death Adders) upon the ladder competed against each other in a play-off match to determine who would face the first-ranked team (Mulga Snakes) in the Grand Final. The Tiger Snakes defeated the Death Adders 3-1 on the Thursday evening of November 3rd.
On the 10th of November, the Tiger Snakes defeated the Mulga Snakes 3-0 in the Grand Final for the 2016 Spring pennant competition.
