2016 Autumn Pennant (18/02 – 05/05)

6 Teams were involved within a 10 Week Competition, which was concluded with a 2 week long Finals Series contested between the top 4 teams on the ladder by the end of the regular season.

Each team consisted of 2 players.

The Finals Series commenced at the conclusion of the regular season, after every team had played each other twice.

The Semi-Finals were conducted within the first week of the Finals Series on Thursday, 28th April. Semi Final 1 was contested between the teams ranked first and fourth upon the ladder at the conclusion of the regular season fixture. Whilst, Semi Final 2 featured the teams ranked second and third upon the ladder.

Semi Final 1 saw the Dragonflies (1st) defeat the Wasps (4th), whilst the Scorpions (2nd) played out a tough match with the Tarantulas (3rd) in Semi Final 2 to claim victory on Thursday the 28th of April.

The Division 1 Grand Final was held upon Thursday, May 5th between the winning teams of Semi Final 1 and Semi Final 2, who were the Dragonflies and the Scorpions. The Dragonflies were victorious over the Scorpions winning 3 rubbers to 1.
