The grand final of the 2019 Winter pennant was played at Donburn Primary School on the evening of Thursday, August 15th. The Bears (3) defeated the ladder-leading Lions (2) in a very close contest.

Congratulations to each of our finalists: Reza, Al, Farshad and Thomas, who put on a thrilling display to conclude this competition. I would also like to thank all of our players, reserves and supporters who participated within and made the 2019 Winter pennant another enjoyable competition for our club. It is great to see our players conduct themselves with sportsmanship and display club spirit each week.

I would like to thank our competition director, Xudong Tang for updating our pennant records on the Ratings Central system. This provides an important guide for competition rankings and also enables comparison with other clubs and associations across the world.

Please note that there will be grading matches being conducted this Thursday night (August 22nd) for the upcoming Spring pennant. We would like to invite all players and members who are interested in playing this next pennant season to join us for these grading matches.
